vers le bas avec le shah!!!

my designated-dive-buddy, Iva, burned me a copy of Persepolis, an animated movie adapted from Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel of the same title. the film was also written and directed by her. i’ve never heard about miss Satrapi or any of her work until Iva mentioned her to me. the movie is autobiographical, revolving around Marji’s life growing up in Tehran in the time of the Iranian Revolution, her flight to Vienna to escape the regime and her subsequent return in her college years. i’m no art film guru/addict but i know a great movie when i see one. so yea, this one, you gotta see, because there’s a big chance you’ll see a greater part of you is in this this film :) (thanks a heap Iva!!!)
