my designated-dive-buddy, Iva, burned me a copy of Persepolis, an animated movie adapted from Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel of the same title. the film was also written and directed by her. i’ve never heard about miss Satrapi or any of her work until Iva mentioned her to me. the movie is autobiographical, revolving around Marji’s life growing up in Tehran in the time of the Iranian Revolution, her flight to Vienna to escape the regime and her subsequent return in her college years. i’m no art film guru/addict but i know a great movie when i see one. so yea, this one, you gotta see, because there’s a big chance you’ll see a greater part of you is in this this film (thanks a heap Iva!!!)

spent the christmas break back at home. on one of the slower days, i was browsing over old photosets (mostly 2005 & early 2006 iweb) in my pc and ended up laughing my ass out with most of the stuff ive found. good ol days. sabi nga, friends come and go, pero yung pinagsamahan parang san miguel beer! nyahaha. good times, good times. wish i could post all the crazy pix here hehehe.
