spent the christmas break back at home. on one of the slower days, i was browsing over old photosets (mostly 2005 & early 2006 iweb) in my pc and ended up laughing my ass out with most of the stuff ive found. good ol days. sabi nga, friends come and go, pero yung pinagsamahan parang san miguel beer! nyahaha. good times, good times. wish i could post all the crazy pix here hehehe.
ahahahaha! the aleng pules of the iweb party (yes, yung scorching-hot-super gorgeous-vixxxen-volcanic psycho-kind and-environmentally-conscious na pules sa may entrance na nagpapa frisk sa mga pumapasok, errr sya pala ang nagfi frisk ) posted a photoset in her blog with crazyass captions nyahahaha. and yep teena, we saw you dancing (”you cut me deep”)
ahahaha yung pwet ko nanalo ng creative zen stone nung xmas party!!! i said my ass won it because i was literally sitting on the damn prize! ayus! thanks thanks sa mga kinauukulan… hehehe. thank you din pala in advance para sa 14th and 15th month bonus??? ehehe. okay, i wont push it.
i was fixing lunch yesterday when my 4 year old niece pulled on my shirt and, in an odd mixture of thai-brit-tagalog language, asked me to turn off my earbanging music at the living room (i think i got miss billie holiday on that time) because she wanted to watch her kiddy dvds. she was holding a dvd i bought her, a collection of disney movies, so after shutting miss holiday down, i popped it in. she wanted to watch treasure planet, an space-age take on RL Stevenson’s Treasure Island. i watched it with her as i ate lunch, and i gotta say, i should have watched this flick on the cinemas back then. and this is my fave part of the movie… i think i liked the song more after seeing the film haha.
I am a question to the world
Not an answer to be heard
Or a moment
That’s held in your armsAnd what do you think you’d ever say?
I won’t listen anyway
You don’t know me
And I’ll never be what you want me to beAnd what do you think you’d understand?
I’m a boy, no, I’m a man
You can’t take me
And throw me awayAnd how can you learn what’s never shown?
Yeah, you stand here on your own
They don’t know me
Cause I’m not here
Chorus:
And I want a moment to be real
Wanna touch things I don’t feel
Wanna hold on and feel I belong
And how can the world want me to change?
They’re the ones that stay the same
They don’t know me
Cause I’m not here
And you see the things they never see
All you wanted I could be
Now you know me
And I’m not afraid
And I want to tell you who I am
Can you help me be a man?
They can’t break me
As long as I know who I am
Chorus
They can’t tell me who to be
Cause I’m not what they see
Yeah, the world is still sleepin while I keep on dreaming for me
And their words are just whispers and lies thatI’ll never believe
Chorus
I’m the one now
Cause I’m still here
I’m the one
Cause I’m still here
I’m still here
I’m still here
I’m still here
must be the sliding mist you puffin, we stoked
must be the hoodoo you speakin, i broke
must be the huh?’s you spittin, you coughed
must be the flying pauses we givin, we laughed.
must be this silent hallowed exit, we snapped
must be this slow crawling evening, you relaxed
must be them clueless passing voices, i gasped
must be this mist in our breathin, we cracked.
im goin, following them footsteps on them concretes.
you glidin, with burning wings into the blue deep.
we fallin, drowning on greens into the high street.
if i remember it right, i think i first came across this flash movie (the first part) way back when my ass was still new in the company. the antel makati days. im still waiting for the 3rd part, cmon sambakza people!!!
click the images to watch ‘em… (”click the images”… wew, that is soo new )
let us say i got a thousand mossad agents at my disposal. then i launch an operation against the city of makati and overthrow binay and his posse. build adamantum fences around the city and nothing comes in or out. kill all humans inside that are over the age of 1 year.
so all thats left in the city is me, my mossad and crying babies in their cribs. half of my army should be women so they’d be able to take care of them kids. i will be the king, the god, the president. i will be the book, the constitution. i will teach these kids that i created makati for them, out of thin air. i will put my face on cheap plastic coins and tell them they need to work for it so they’d have stuff to eat. i will create laws. i will make up things, smart and absurd ones. hell i might even say that aquaman is real.
i can say anything and they will believe me. every word for every peso in their arses. they will follow every saliva-blast i give ‘em. they have nothing else to believe in, anyways, but me, and my mossad. the truth will be me and everything i have in my hands. sure, some would go awol and would try to be smartasses, but i’d crush ‘em like im making triple taro ice and others will just see them as crazies.
what am i trying to say here? nothing. im actually trying to ask something here…
what IS the truth? are we sure that all the things we know and believe in, especially about the past, are true? are “real”?
let us say i raised 500 kids in that city, and 490 heads believe me and only 10 are skeptics. aquaman will still remain real until those 10 overthrows me.
i was browsing the ging-ging’s menu for some alcoholic drinks and wew, they got gold eagle beer! 750ml! hahaha!
#10: Bantigue Cove
if you want peace and privacy, this is the resort for ya. its located in the north-eastern tip of malapascua island.
#9: So What Did the Book Say?
zel, mike, o.j. and omar huddled up over the lonely planet booky and discussed which resort in malapascua is the best choice.
#8: Bantayan Island Skyline
okay, bantayan may not be as peaceful as malapascua but its understandable since its a big island and has a huge population (they have a number of towns, schools etc). the trick is to get a privy resort
#7: Fall from the Sky Into Paradise
this is my new sanctuary. this would be on the top of my list of places i’d wanna revisit, especially this summer. the island is peaceful, the people all friendly, the sand powdery white, the water is clear and the accommodation is fairly cheap. AND, there are sharks!!!
#6: Karen of the Hammock
malapascua island. i wonder what karen was thinking of in this one. could it be “dont you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?” or “you better watch that guy of yours or im taking him away from you”
#5: Malapascua-Bantayan Boat Toma
we met 3 crazy cats at malapascua island who were also on their way to bantayan island. they asked us if they can share the boat with us, we agreed, bawas gastos haha. they brought some redhorse onboard to fight seasickness haha
#04: Habulin Sina Flipper!!!
on our way to balicasag island, our boatman spotted a group of dolphins. and the chase began! other boats join in and we got to see them cuddly dolphins a number of times more.
#3: Habal-habal Island
we criss-crossed the tiny island of malapascua. visiting hidden spots with great views of the beaches and the island itself. of course we traveled habal-habal style!
#2: Thresher Shark Hunt
sunday morning. cath, karen and i dragged our asses up really early for the shark hunt. We were waiting for the dive-boat when cathy auto-snapped this one. and about the hunt? yea baby, mission accomplished! 11 foot tresher shark!!!
#1: No Ordinary Morning
we stayed at Panglao island in Bohol. the following morning, we got up just before the dawn broke. a sun-painted sky was there to greet us a wonderful morning
